Dear Esther: Landmark

A Journey on a Deserted Island

Dear Esther: Landmark transports players to a remote and desolate island, where each step reveals new fragments of a haunting narrative. As the voice of a lost man reading from a letter unfolds, players explore the aftermath of a tragic accident and the memories tied to it. This is not just a game; it's a meditative experience that combines visual storytelling with audio poetry.

An Original Story-Driven Experience

In an era dominated by action-packed gameplay, Dear Esther: Landmark rejects traditional mechanics in favor of a purely story-driven experience. Every play-through offers something different, thanks to its randomly generated audio, visuals, and events. With each visit, players uncover various interpretations of love, loss, guilt, and redemption, making the exploration deeply personal and uniquely atmospheric.
