Cypherpunk

Cloud-backed thoughts

Cypherpunk is a PC game set in a world where people’s thoughts are backed up to the cloud. Its premise makes being rewritten, rather than dying, the ultimate horror.

The central threat

The game’s central idea is that thoughts stored in the cloud can be rewritten. That’s the specific threat at the heart of its setting.
