Crown of Mourningfire

A kingdom under the crown

Crown of Mourningfire is a single-player, side-scrolling action platformer for PC. The king’s claim to the Crown of Ash has turned his kingdom into a prison for the living and the dead. You play a knight carrying a broken oath, crossing the fallen kingdom to confront the ruler responsible.

The game’s pixel-art settings include Gravesong Moor, Thornwood’s forests, flooded catacombs and Stormspire’s storm-battered heights. Later areas include frozen halls, fungal depths, captive stars and a world fractured by the void. Layered parallax scenery gives the landscapes depth.
