The Curse of the Paintress

In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players will face a harrowing countdown to destiny. Each year, the Paintress awakens to paint a cursed number upon her monolith, erasing everyone who reaches that age. Tomorrow, her brush will strike “33,” sealing the fate of Expedition 33 as they fight to break her deadly cycle. This turn-based RPG melds real-time mechanics to create a compelling journey through a beautifully rendered world inspired by Belle Époque France.

Engaging Turn-based Combat Redefined

Combat in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 evolves the traditional turn-based RPG system by integrating real-time actions. Players can sculpt their own combat style by crafting unique builds through character stats, gear, and skills. While taking turns, you can dodge, parry, and execute counters dynamically, creating a richer tactical experience. Mastering the rhythm of attacks allows for chain combos, while a free aim system lets players target enemy weak points, adding depth to each encounter.
