A judgment after death

Card Master is a turn-based roguelike deckbuilder for PC. After a fire on the winter solstice kills fifteen people, their souls awaken in a judgment world while their bodies remain alive. You cross the Burning Site, the Sin Corridor, and the Abyss of the Seven Sins, fighting for a chance to return to the living world. The final opponent is Fate.

Playing your hand

Combat uses a familiar deck of playing cards. Card values deal damage, while pairs, straights, and other hands earn bigger rewards. Each turn, you decide what to draw, keep, play, or discard, weighing a safer move against the chance to build a stronger hand. Managing the deck is part of combat: cards, potions, and relics improve a build, and removing dead cards helps you draw key pieces more often.
