Bloodweight

Generational Saga in Bloodweight

In Bloodweight, a PC-based strategy simulation, players take on the role of an Ancestor, shaping the fate of a bloodline over a hundred generations. The game presents a compelling twist on the genealogical theme, where you guide heirs rather than control them directly. Decisions made echo through time, influencing future generations and ultimately culminating in a literary chronicle of your dynasty’s successes and failures.

The Soul Teller's Archive

Everything in Bloodweight is chronicled by the Soul Teller, an enigmatic entity that records your family's legacy. When your bloodline meets its end (whether through catastrophe, bad decisions, or the challenge of reaching Generation 100) all actions are encoded into a shareable artifact. The Soul Teller’s tales, told through a sardonic archivist, narrate the legacy of every player uniquely, ensuring your family’s story becomes a permanent part of the game’s lore.
