Beta Bar

Game premise and gameplay

Beta Bar is a multiplayer social adventure focused on conversation and combat. Players build their confidence and strength by interacting with a variety of characters in a bar setting. The objective is to outlast friends by knocking them out, using conversation skills that directly impact combat effectiveness. You tailor your dialogue approach with each character, attempting to gain their favor while reading their subtle cues.

Branching conversations

The game features deep dialogue trees that allow for branching conversations. Interaction with the patrons, who have distinct personalities and preferences, requires you to adapt your conversational strategy. Some characters may respond well to directness, while others prefer humor or may shut down any signs of hesitation. The choice of dialogue can lead to different outcomes in each interaction.
