Mining base defense

Asteroid Bastion is a single-player, real-time defense strategy game set in the Belt of Silence, an asteroid ring rich in ore. You build a mining base in an open 2D expanse of space and defend Helios, the energy source for the network, from pirates drawn by the extractors.

Construction is free-form: there are no grids, fixed slots, or preset corridors. Place and upgrade structures around the asteroids, then rearrange your defenses as needed. Pirates attack your structures directly rather than heading for an exit, so the base itself has to hold.
