Ash & Rust

Unravel the Dark Fantasy of Ash & Rust

Ash & Rust invites players into a twisted dark fantasy realm where you play as an Entity, an OMEN bound to fulfill the desires of powerful overlords. This top-down ARPG stands out for its deeply intricate build system and the unique freedom it offers players to create their own abilities from scratch. Crafting a character goes beyond mere aesthetics; your choices directly affect your gameplay strategy and the narrative paths you can explore.

Strategic Depth Through Customization

The heart of Ash & Rust lies in its extreme build diversity. Players can manipulate abilities, traits, and gear through an intuitive UI grid system. Customize your abilities by selecting from four base types, payloads, and elemental effects. As you level up, the challenge is to fit as many augment shapes into your Activated Inventory as possible. Managing this grid becomes a secondary skill that rewards clever combinations for maximum impact in combat.
