SAMURAI SHODOWN IV: Classic Fighting Revived for Xbox One

SAMURAI SHODOWN IV returns to the console with its rich history rooted in the fighting game genre. Originally released by SNK in 1996, this title remains a significant entry in the arcade landscape. Players step into the shoes of various warriors, each with unique goals, to confront the resurrected villain Amakusa. The stakes are high, as battles escalate with the use of the innovative “Anger Gauge” that can lead to unexpected, game-changing moves.

Charge Up for Victory with the Anger Gauge

Central to SAMURAI SHODOWN IV's combat mechanics is the Anger Gauge. This system ramps up the intensity of battles by granting players access to powerful attacks as their gauge fills. Timing your moves becomes crucial as the gauge influences both attack potency and defensive capabilities. Players can strategically manage their resources, leading to nail-biting moments as they try to outsmart their opponents with unexpected attacks.
