3 Households

Explore the Emotional Landscape of 3 Households

In 3 Households, a thought-provoking PC game, you navigate the intricacies of a family unit by delving into the experiences of a mother, her daughter, and the daughter's girlfriend. Set against a backdrop of shared grief, where the yellow hue signifies both the day and night, the game unfolds over 49 days following a funeral. You are tasked with nurturing a new pattern within a structured home consumed by trauma and transformation.

Mechanics of Transformation and Healing

Interaction within 3 Households is centered around a unique set of mechanics. Players engage with four types of buttons that direct gameplay. At the top, you can advance to the next scene once it’s unlocked, while puzzles in the middle ask you to rearrange 21 boxes into symmetrical symbols. On either side, guiding prompts allow you to reformulate words based on your decisions. This layered approach invites reflective thought as you manipulate the environment.
