Discover the Experimental GP40X Locomotive Design

The GP40X was a product of EMD (Electro-Motive Division), showcasing cutting-edge engineering during its time. Featuring distinct flared radiator panels and newly designed two-axle EMD HT-B high-adhesion trucks, this locomotive stood out on the tracks. With 23 units made specifically for pilot testing across four major railroads, the GP40X paved the way for future locomotive designs, offering players not just a vehicle but a glimpse into railroad evolution.
