Rise of the Merchants - Official Cookbook

Cookbook DLC

Rise of the Merchants - Official Cookbook is a cookbook DLC for Rise of the Merchants, not a playable game. It adds medieval recipes inspired by the ingredients and production buildings in the base game. You prepare dishes drawn from the food traditions of German, French, Italian, and English medieval cookbooks.

Recipes and preparation

The collection covers food for people across the game’s society, from poorer townsfolk to the Count and his guests. Its recipes take inspiration from books such as Le Ménagier de Paris and the Liber de Coquina, which often gave cooks broad guidance rather than precise, step-by-step instructions.
