Dominating Civilizations: Byzantium and Gaul in Civilization VI

In the Civilization VI - Byzantium & Gaul Pack for Xbox One, players are introduced to two powerful civilizations that change the dynamics of gameplay. With Basil II leading Byzantium and Ambiorix heading Gaul, each civilization brings new strategies and units to explore. Prepare to dominate the map with religious fervor or cultural might, reshaping your approach to world conquest.

Byzantine Warfare and Religious Strategy

The Byzantine Empire, led by Basil II, enhances its capacity for domination through a unique combination of military strength and religious influence. The “Taxis” ability empowers units with additional Combat and Religious Strength by converting enemy Holy Cities. This encourages players to balance offensive tactics with religious expansion, while the Dromon Ship and Tagma units provide specialized roles in naval and land warfare, respectively.
