Petris

A Fresh Take on Classic Tiling Puzzles: Petris

Petris revives the classic tiling puzzle genre with a modern twist. Drawing inspiration from the 80s, it presents a nostalgic framework while implementing unique mechanics. Players must manage falling stripes, horizontal and vertical rectangles, that require strategic placement to clear lines and maximize scores. Each level accelerates in difficulty, making it an exhilarating challenge.

Tiling Mechanics that Keep You Engaged

In Petris, three identical stripes form a square, but there's a catch: you cannot mix horizontal and vertical stripes to complete a square. This fundamental rule shapes how you approach each fall, demanding keen spatial awareness and quick thinking. Players must master rotation and lateral movement as the game speeds up, constantly pushing them to refine their strategy.
