METAL GEAR

The Mission: Infiltration in OUTER HEAVEN

In METAL GEAR, players step into the combat boots of SOLID SNAKE, a covert operative tasked with infiltrating OUTER HEAVEN. This remote and heavily fortified military installation in southern Africa is home to the sinister METAL GEAR weapon. As tensions rise, SOLID SNAKE must navigate a world of espionage, technological warfare, and stealth-based gameplay that called the genre into being.

Engaging in Stealth Mechanics

Stealth is the name of the game. METAL GEAR emphasizes strategic evasion over direct confrontation. Players must analyze enemy patterns, utilize the environment for cover, and employ various gadgets to remain undetected. It’s a delicate balance that requires quick thinking and planning, as a single misstep can lead enemies to sound the alarm. The intricate design of OUTER HEAVEN enhances these mechanics, providing multiple paths and solutions to obstacles.
