Mable & The Wood - Xbox One

A Transformative Metroidvania Quest in Mable & The Wood

Mable & The Wood challenges the conventions of the Metroidvania genre by placing the power of choice directly into the hands of the player. Set in a dark fantasy world, players control Mable as she navigates a complex map, acquiring the shapes and powers of the bosses she defeats. The narrative centers on ancient prophecies and the moral quandaries of choice, will you follow the path of destruction or save the dying world?

Choices That Matter in a Dying World

In this interconnected world, Mable's choices significantly impact the storyline and gameplay. You can choose to fight, but you’re not required to kill anyone. The cult that has resurrected Mable believes she is destined to hunt great beasts, but you’re free to challenge these beliefs. Each decision leads to branching paths and varied endings, allowing every player's journey to be distinctly personal.
