Winter's Grip and a Villager's Plea

In Wizardry: The Five Ordeals - Scenario "The Absence of Misericordia", players are thrust into a world frozen by an eternal winter. As part of the DLC for the base game, you are tasked with a critical mission: to search for relics that can restore Spring to the snowbound land of Winternadir. The chilling setting frames a story rich with lore, built upon the villagers' desperate hope to reclaim their lost warmth and prosperity.

Quest for the Sacred Relic

Your adventure begins as fur merchants approach the seasoned adventurers, seeking assistance in unearthing an ancient relic said to possess the power to banish the cold. This quest leads you to a desolate valley that once housed "The Relic of Our Lady of Mercy." Once a sanctuary, it is now a foreboding abandoned site where dangers lurk and challenges await in nearly every corner.
