Discover the World of LOTUS-Addon: Dresden 2000

LOTUS-Addon: Dresden 2000 invites players into a detailed simulation set in the early 2000s, centered around the historic city of Dresden. Currently in development for PC, this add-on promises a rich experience divided into three phases, each enhancing the gameplay and expanding the routes and vehicles players can operate. As each phase unfolds, players will witness the evolution of Dresden's tram system and explore its unique architecture through the eyes of a streetcar driver.

Explore the First Phase: CargoTram

The first phase introduces the CargoTram, featuring both the Steuerwagen and Mittelwagen vehicles. Players can navigate a detailed map, which includes the route from Güterverkehrszentrum to Altmarkt and additional branching routes. Covering approximately 8 kilometers, this initial setup is pivotal in setting the tone for the rest of the game. It establishes what driving a streetcar in Dresden felt like at the turn of the millennium, capturing both routine and nostalgia.
