Explore New Tactics with Hive - The Mosquito

In Hive - The Mosquito, the tactical depth of the original Hive board game gets a refreshing twist. Designed for PC, this expansion is not a standalone game; players must already own the base game to access its innovative features. The Mosquito introduces a unique mechanic that allows it to mimic the movement abilities of any insect it touches. This strategic element can shift the dynamics of play in exciting ways, making each game feel fresh and unpredictable.

How the Mosquito Changes the Game

This expansion adds a layer of complexity to your gameplay. The Mosquito has no movement abilities of its own, which may seem limiting at first. However, its real power lies in its ability to absorb the capabilities of surrounding pieces. Players must think ahead, not only to plot their own strategies but also to anticipate how this pesky insect might augment their opponent’s moves. The interaction encourages deeper strategic planning and counter-play.
