Zupay: Shadows of Independence

Fight for Freedom in Zupay: Shadows of Independence

Set against the backdrop of the South American independence war, Zupay: Shadows of Independence immerses players into a tumultuous period marked by strife and revenge. Players assume the role of a gaucho whose peaceful life is shattered when war reaches his doorstep. Possessed by the mythic spirit of the Zupay, this once-peaceful figure transforms into a force of retaliation, driven to fight for his homeland and confront his fears.

The Eerie Power of the Zupay

The Zupay grants the gaucho not just the desire for vengeance, but a terrifying power. As he battles through waves of royalists, players can consume the fear of their enemies to fuel transformations. This mechanic adds depth to the combat system, allowing players to strategize when to confront foes directly and when to rely on stealth and cunning instead. Features like resource gathering, including special herbs and currency, empower players to enhance their abilities as they proceed.
