Zombie Quest

Zombie Quest on PC

Zombie Quest is an EGA text adventure about Rutger, a DMV clerk who wakes up after a drinking blackout in a public bathroom, with the dead walking outside. You type actions to guide him through a quest to survive and save the human race.

Typing and puzzles

The game follows early adventure games: you enter actions through a text parser and use your wit to solve obscure puzzles. Rutger encounters other survivors, including people who are friendly, helpful, insane or useless. Clear message boxes explain what’s happening.
