Yuki-Onna Checker

Yuki-Onna Checker: The Chill Desktop Companion

Yuki-Onna Checker brings a whimsical element to your PC experience by incorporating your system's temperature into its gameplay. This interactive desktop mascot, inspired by the traditional figure of Yuki-Onna, a snow woman from Japanese folklore, acts as both a quirky companion and a reminder to keep your computer cool. Players can watch her animated state shift, depending on the temperature of their CPU and GPU.

Monitor Your Temperatures with Style

With Yuki-Onna, players receive real-time feedback on their computer's thermal status. The game leverages the lower temperature reading between your CPU and GPU to adjust her demeanor. At temperatures below 40°C, joyful hearts appear around her, indicating she’s happy and healthy. As temperatures reach the 41°C to 60°C range, Yuki-Onna returns to her normal state, acting as a cue to stay vigilant about maintaining optimal conditions.
