World Annihilation Operations Parts I-IV

Experimenting with Worlds in World Annihilation Operations Parts I-IV

World Annihilation Operations Parts I-IV is a compelling set of four experimental PC games designed to provoke thought and challenge perceptions. Each game, lasting between 12 to 20 minutes, delivers a unique exploration of audiovisual and narrative contradictions. By transforming conventional gaming mechanics, this collection serves as a fascinating case study into the integration of contradictions within fictional worlds.

Diverse Experiences Across Four Games

The first part introduces players to a surreal 3-D city set against a barren desert backdrop. Players navigate freely, encountering a series of audiovisual events that unfold in a carefully timed manner. Inspired by the idea of propagation, Part I brings light, shadows, and objects into a dialogue with one another, creating a unique atmosphere that confronts players with instabilities within their surroundings.
