Roguelike combat

沃瑞尔：荒境 is a PC action roguelike built around combat and map strategy. You choose two skills at random from 24 to use in battle, then strengthen or replace them while exploring. Blessings change how skills work, and the demo includes nearly 100 blessings to combine.

Map exploration

Maps are covered in fog, so you uncover their tiles as you go. Time passes during exploration, bringing nightfall and the chance of more danger at midnight. Some maps contain underground temple ruins occupied by powerful abyssal monsters. Entering them brings greater risk in exchange for the chance of greater rewards.
