Bluffing with ingredients

Witch's Apprentices is a bluffing card game for PC, where apprentices compete to brew potions for their witch teacher. Online, you can play with up to four friends on Steam, with voice chat; bots can fill empty seats, and you can choose from three difficulty levels. There’s also a single-player mode with one-on-one matches against apprentices and monsters.

Each round, the teacher sets a recipe ingredient. On your turn, you place ingredients face-down in the cauldron and claim they’re real, whether they are or not. The next player can trust you and continue, or call “Dispel!” to reveal the cards. If the accusation is wrong, the caller takes the punishment; if it catches a lie, the player who lied does. Lose lives and you turn into a frog, while the last apprentice still human graduates.
