The Tension of Everyday Life in While We Wait Here

In While We Wait Here, players step into the bustling life of a diner set against a looming mountain backdrop. As a small kitchen management game available on Xbox One and Series, it combines food service with a compelling narrative that explores human reactions to impending catastrophe. Balancing cooking and customer interactions, the game invites players to delve deep into the lives of their patrons while navigating an extraordinary crisis.

A Diner's Day turns Catastrophic

The routine at the diner is abruptly interrupted when news breaks of an impending catastrophe. For the owner, this means keeping the establishment running, cooking up hearty meals, and serving beverages, all while grappling with a unique array of patrons. Each customer brings their own perspective about the world’s ending. Some dismiss the warnings outright, consumed by their immediate concerns, while others contemplate their existence and embrace an inevitable reckoning.
