Volgarr the Viking II - Xbox One & Series

The Return of a Heroic Saga in Volgarr the Viking II

Volgarr the Viking II picks up the tale of its titular hero more than a decade after his original chaotic debut. This 2D action-platformer is back, serving a plate of relentless difficulty and fast-paced mechanics. Precision is key as players navigate through beautifully designed worlds inspired by Norse mythology. Get ready to confront new enemies and boss battles that will put your skills to the test.

Brutal Challenge Meets Modern Mechanics

Returning players won't be surprised by the hardcore challenge that Volgarr brings, harkening back to the brutal arcade titles of the 1980s. Mistakes lead to harsh penalties, and dying often feels inevitable. However, the sequel introduces modern quality-of-life features like checkpoints and save states. Now, players can adjust the intensity of their pilgrimage, while new mechanics keep the experience engaging and fresh.
