ABOUT THIS GAME
A configurable chess variant
Universal Chess is a chess variant for PC played on an 8×8 board. The King and Queen are both Sovereigns and move in the same way. The Armored is the strongest piece; the other pieces are the Elephant, Horse, Camel, Infantryman and Towers.
Before a game, you choose from 192 positions for the Sovereigns and heavy pieces, then select a regime: a diarchy, a King monarchy or a Queen monarchy. Heavy pieces can use standard or enhanced movement.
