Unclean Hands

Durak with a horror twist

Unclean Hands is a PS1-style horror card game for PC, built around Durak, a Russian card game played with 36 cards. Spirits deal from across a table in a bathhouse after midnight, and you try to beat each attack with a higher card of the same suit or a trump. If you can’t, you pick up the cards. The player left holding cards is the fool.

The spirits cheat, and you have to catch them while playing your own hand. The Bannik slips a false card into the beaten pile through the steam, the Kikimora throws a card from her sleeve, and Baba Yaga swaps the trump card under the deck. Call out a suspected cheat with “GOTCHA!” If you’re right, the spirit pays; if you’re wrong, you lose a finger.
