Ultima Cenere

A Journey Through Ashes in Ultima Cenere

In Ultima Cenere, the remnants of Italy lie shrouded in ghostly silence. You become the last flicker of hope in a desolate world of ash, as you navigate through the decay of once-grand basilicas and highways overtaken by nature. This PC game pairs a dark narrative with a turn-based roguelike deckbuilder format, challenging players to confront their mortality and the sacrifices necessary for survival.

Transformative Choices in Gameplay

Your character's evolution in Ultima Cenere isn't about gaining strength; it's about what you're prepared to forfeit. Each run involves painful choices that reshape your very being. Through a mechanic known as Mutations, the environment alters your capabilities, adding, removing, and transforming skills based on the ash that permeates your journey. Unlike traditional games, the control is relinquished; the ash defines your fate, compelling you to adapt.
