Tonari Days: Your Desktop Companion

Desktop companion

Tonari Days: Your Desktop Companion is a PC desktop companion built around Tonari, a girl who sits in a small bar at the edge of your screen while you work. You can tap her, pat her head, and watch her blink, glance around, or doze off if you leave her alone. Her 800-plus lines are voiced in Japanese, while her words appear in your language.

Tonari responds to the time of day, weekday, season, weather, holidays, and how long it’s been since your last visit. She avoids repeating the same line back to back. Her window can stay open alongside your other work, and she pauses when it’s hidden.
