The Template

Exploring the Unfinished Realms of The Template

The Template invites players into a largely unrefined experience rich with potential. This sandbox sci-fantasy RPG is still in its early stages, focusing on planetary exploration rather than traditional combat. As you traverse semi-liminal worlds, diverse gameplay elements hint at a deeper narrative, all while the developer expresses candid hopes for its evolution. It’s a bold exploration of an evolving concept.

A Candid Look at Development

The developer offers a forthright glimpse into the game’s current state, calling it a “learning to walk” phase in game development. You’ll encounter a work-in-progress that is experienced as much as it is played. A singular quest and minimal NPC interactions might leave seasoned gamers craving more, but this adventure is about foundational elements, both in gameplay and design.
