The Shepherd

Protect the Flock in The Shepherd

In The Shepherd, players take on the role of a shepherd in a vibrant, pixelated 2D landscape set against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia's expansive deserts. This RPG combines strategic elements with a time-based turn-based battle system that favors skill over chance. Predators are always lurking, and it’s up to you to safeguard your flock and ensure they thrive amidst the challenges of their environment.

Time-Based Combat Mechanics

What sets The Shepherd apart is its innovative battle system. In turn-based encounters, players use a time-based bar mechanic to launch attacks. Unlike traditional turn-based systems where luck can play a major role, this mechanic emphasizes timing and strategy, allowing players to feel more in control. Each predator you encounter boasts distinct abilities, making every battle a unique test of skill and tactical thinking.
