The Novelist

The Emotional Landscape of The Novelist

The Novelist invites players to navigate the delicate balance between ambition and family. Set in a serene coastal house, you guide Dan Kaplan as he strives to complete his most important work while maintaining his roles as a devoted husband and father. The game explores profound themes of love, sacrifice, and the complexities of personal aspirations. Each decision will have a ripple effect, shaping not just Dan's career, but also his family dynamics.

Ghostly Guidance in Family Dynamics

Your role in this narrative-driven PC game is as an unseen observer, a ghost who can listen to the Kaplans' thoughts and memories. Intervening in their lives offers the chance to help them realize their desires. However, the challenge lies in staying hidden; their awareness could derail your influence. The choices you make must balance Dan's career against the emotional needs of his wife and son, crafting a story that's deeply personal to each player.
