Building a power company

The Last Kilowatt is a PC power-building game about replacing a coal plant’s grip on a small town. The AI boom has swallowed the grid, and you begin with no money or power. Pick up litter for cash, then grow a power company from a single 50 W solar panel and a car battery.

Generating and selling power

Build solar panels, wind turbines and batteries, from scrap-built turbines to sun-tracking arrays and megawatt storage. Connect machines with cables, and run power lines to new land. You can sell electricity to phones, scooters, electric cars and highway traffic, as well as sign up houses, flats, shops and the landfill. Each customer you win is one Evil Corp loses.
