The Lantern Man Cometh

Incremental horror on a lake

The Lantern Man Cometh is a PC incremental game about a sentient sea creature collecting souls for the force beneath a mysterious lake. You hunt boatmen sailing at night, using a lantern to draw them close. Once they’re near, the horror below takes their souls.

The lake’s old rumors tell of a great beast, or perhaps a demon, far beneath its depths. Those stories have faded, leaving boaters to approach the water without fear. The creature you play was brought to sentience by whatever lies below, and its task is to gather souls.
