The Heartfelt Journey in The Language of Love

In The Language of Love, players step into the shoes of Tanimura Mitsuki, a young man whose life takes an unexpected turn after his mother’s accident. Set against the backdrop of the serene Japanese countryside, this narrative-focused visual novel explores Mitsuki’s struggles as he tries to catch up with his peers after years away from education. As he relocates to Tokyo, Mitsuki’s journey transforms from a quest for knowledge to a heartfelt exploration of human connections.

Struggling Against the Odds

At twenty-three, Mitsuki finds himself isolated in a cram school filled with much younger classmates. Being the oldest creates a barrier, complicating his academic goals. As he grapples with feelings of loneliness and the pressure of impending university entrance exams, the game poignantly depicts Mitsuki’s internal conflicts. The stakes are high, and the pressure of society weighs heavily on his shoulders, making his pursuit of education feel all the more significant.
