THE INDIE DEV

THE INDIE DEV: A Genre-Swapping Adventure

In THE INDIE DEV, you step into the shoes of a lone developer on a journey to create a game worth winning the "best indie game" award. This mockumentary-style title offers a quirky mix of third-person platforming, hack-n-slash action, and exploration. With a nod to the unpredictable world of game development, its humor injects levity into the challenge of crafting a cohesive experience, all performed by someone just four weeks into learning Unreal Engine.

Three Genres in One Game

Expect a delightful blend as THE INDIE DEV transitions between three distinct genres. Channel your inner speed-runner while platforming through vibrant worlds, wield weapons to engage foes in hack-n-slash combat, and explore expansive maps teeming with collectibles. Some areas may veer into linear storytelling hallways, but it’s all part of the developer's vision, which channels the chaotic spirit of indie creation.
