The Backrooms: Rescue Expedition

The Backrooms: Rescue Expedition Overview

The Backrooms: Rescue Expedition plunges players into a world where liminal spaces become a playground for terror. In this PC game, players are tasked with locating and saving a lost research unit, Echo-7 North. The atmosphere is thick with madness, as players navigate through seemingly infinite halls haunted by ruthless entities. The mission is straightforward: retrieve the equipment and rescue the lost team, all while grappling with the psychological strains of isolation and dread.

Cooperative Gameplay in an Unforgiving Environment

The game allows multiple ways to tackle the mission. You can venture into the backrooms solo, or team up with 1 to 3 other players, creating a cooperative experience that is both thrilling and daunting. Choosing to coordinate efforts can enhance your chances of survival, but the game’s difficulty will scale regardless of whether you're alone or with a group. This design encourages strategic planning and communication among teammates while traversing the disorienting terrain.
