The Backrooms: Liminal Space

Venture into the Yellow Maze of The Backrooms: Liminal Space

The Backrooms: Liminal Space envelopes players in a haunting, surreal horror experience that feels eerily familiar yet profoundly unsettling. Created by a solo 12-year-old developer and shot with a nostalgic VHS aesthetic, this PC game plunges you into an endless expanse of yellow corridors. Here, the absence of both items and combat encourages players to rely solely on their eerie surroundings and a camcorder, creating an atmosphere thick with tension.

Relentless Atmosphere Builds Suspense

In this maze, every flicker of light and echo of your footsteps amplifies the oppressive atmosphere. The world is disorienting; walls stretch indefinitely, creating an overwhelming sense of isolation. There’s no respite from the unnerving tension that seeps into each moment. Expect to feel trapped within a haunting soundscape that keeps your heart racing. Instead of enemies, your greatest foe is the anticipation of what may lurk just beyond your view.
