The Abyss: The Beginning is a third-person survival horror game for PC. You play Inspector Majed, a detective investigating a house where strange events have no apparent explanation. The game’s central question is what’s behind the place’s secrets, as Majed searches for answers in a house said to keep anyone who enters from returning.

Investigation and combat

You explore from an over-the-shoulder view, read scattered notes and journal entries, and aim at objects to pick them up or interact with them. Firearms are part of the investigation: you can aim and shoot at threats, but ammunition is scarce, so each shot counts.
