Test Fire: Armor Penetration Sim is a PC engineering simulation and armor-penetration sandbox. You design projectiles and armor, then fire rounds to see how they behave in a finite element analysis (FEA) simulation. Materials deform, crack, shatter and spall under impact; rounds can ricochet, break apart, or stop partway through a target.

Campaign challenges

Two campaigns cover challenges from World War I to the modern day, with many levels based on real vehicles and ammunition. In the Armor Campaign, you build a target that stops an incoming round while staying within cost and weight limits. In the Projectile Campaign, you design a round to penetrate the supplied armor.
