Strategic Choices Off the Pitch

As a manager, your responsibilities extend beyond selecting players. You'll negotiate player wages, manage contracts, and oversee hiring and firing decisions. Training is foundational; determining which skills to enhance in your players directly influences match performance. Additionally, staffing management and ground upkeep are vital components, ensuring your team's home advantage is maximized, particularly relevant if your squad excels in spin bowling and the pitch can be tailored for it.
