Sumo Dynasty is a PC sumo stable management game. You take the role of an oyakata, running a heya without wrestling yourself: recruit rikishi, set their training, manage money and staff, and build the stable’s name. The aim is to raise a wrestler from the bottom of the banzuke to Yokozuna.

Recruiting young wrestlers

Recruiting reaches beyond the professional divisions. The game tracks hundreds of amateur wrestlers at middle schools, high schools, universities and corporate teams, with their development continuing year by year. You can follow a prospect before he turns pro, scout potential that’s described in words rather than shown as a number, and compete with rival stables for recruits.
