An island behind a wall

Stay Extinct is a PC survival game set on a research island sealed behind an eighty-metre containment wall. You arrive as relief crew for a three-week contract, but the supply boat never returns, the island is quiet, and your real orders are sealed until you reach shore. The preserve’s automated status still reports, though its carnivore monitors have gone silent.

You search the island for supplies and records, following clues left in logs, tapes and photographs. A research tower’s beacon blinks each night, someone calls the relief party over the radio, and a door bears the instruction “KNOCK TWICE.” Your journal keeps track of questions, including why the gates were locked before the first alarm.
