Starjaunt

Game premise and structure

Starjaunt is a space simulation game where you start with a shuttle and can choose your path in an open galaxy with forty-four star systems. The game does not dictate your role; you can engage in trading, combat, bounty hunting, spying, or commanding fleets. Your actions and the choices you make influence the ongoing war and the dynamics between various factions.

Factions and gameplay

The game features nine factions, each with its own priorities and conflicts. These include the Federation, known for order and heavy ships, and the Rebel Alliance, which prioritizes speed and freedom. Other factions like the Helios Combine and the Artifact Order have distinct characteristics: the former is a megacorp that supports both sides of the war, while the latter focuses on protecting sacred Precursor ruins. Depending on your choices, engaging with these factions through their mission arcs lets you unlock new ships and capabilities.
