Spear and Shot is a 2D pixel top-down bullet-hell shooter built around a spear and a gun. You dodge enemy fire, land close-range spear attacks to build a combo, then use that combo to strengthen your gun’s long-range shots.

Spear and gun combat

The central decision is how long to stay close. Spear hits build your combo, and a higher count powers up your ranged fire. Shooting from a safe distance won’t reach maximum damage, so stronger shots require closing in and keeping the combo going. Take a hit, though, and your accumulated combo is lost.
