Shoyu Ramen Forever

Unraveling the Story of 醤油ラーメンFOREVER

In 醤油ラーメンFOREVER, players dive into a haunting narrative set against the backdrop of Japanese ramen culture. This story-driven walking simulator horror game, available on PC, contrasts mundane daily struggles with eerie supernatural elements. Follow Tsutomu, a beleaguered salaryman, as he crosses an unsettling threshold during a late-night trip to a ramen stall. Little does he know that a seemingly innocent bowl may lead him down a dark path steeped in local legend.

The Enigmatic Ramen Stall

At the heart of this tale lies the ramen stall and an urban legend whispered by local children: “If you eat it with six toppings, you will disappear.” Tsutomu, oblivious to the myth, succumbs to curiosity and orders the eight-topping ramen. His decision not only triggers a series of chilling events but also intertwines his fate with that of Susumu, a ramen-reviewing streamer. Together, they uncover the deep-rooted karma connecting the town and ramen, echoing all the way back to the Heian period.
