Shelf Stable

Game premise and objective

Shelf Stable is a tower defense game set at Checkpoint Voss, the last operational campus of Field Containment Operators. You control the placement and aiming of various hardpoints as you try to repel waves of biomass host attacks. Your primary goal is to hold the line against the horde while managing the density of enemy bodies that push through your defenses.

Combat and weapons

You can use a range of hardpoints, including submachine guns, light machine guns, and rocket launchers. As you progress, you unlock various artillery options and defensive measures, such as Crushers and Shock Traps. The game has a research system called the Weapons Program, which allows you to improve your equipment and capabilities using collected Gold and Tokens from runs, even if you fail.
